INVITATION FOR SUBMISSION OF INTEREST/PRE-QUALIFICATION AND TENDER FOR STATE GOVERNMENT PROJECT FOR THE YEAR, 2026

1.0 INTRODUCTION
The JIGAWA STATE POLYTECHNIC FOR ICT, KAZAURE invites interested and reputable suppliers with relevant experience and track record for submission of TECHNICAL AND FINANCIAL BIDS in respect of its project below.

2.0 SCOPE OF WORKS
Lot 1: Renovation of Staff Quarters Phase I
Lot 2: Construction of Female Hostel Phase I
Lot 3: Renovation of Administrative Block Phase I
Lot 4: Construction of Rector Residence

3.0 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
3.1 Mandatory Requirements:
i. Evidence of Certificate of Incorporation issued by Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
ii. Updated Evidence of Registration with the Jigawa State Due Process & Project Monitoring Bureau valid for the year 2026.
iii. Updated Evidence of Registration with the Jigawa State Works Registration Unit.
iv. Evidence of Company’s Income Tax Clearance Certificate (or Personal Income Tax Clearance Certificate of the partners in case of Business Name) for the last three (3) years i.e. (2023, 2024 and 2025).
v. Company’s Audited Accounts for the immediate last three (3) years (2023, 2024 & 2025) duly acknowledged by the Jigawa State Government regulatory body.

3.2 Additional Requirements:
vi. Evidence of VAT registration and remittance.
vii. Evidence of financial capability and banking support.
viii. Company average turnover.
ix. Court affidavit indicating that the Company is not under any receivership or bankrupt.
x. Bid Security of 2% of the tender sum.
xi. Verifiable evidence of relevant experience for three (3) Years in similar jobs.
xii. List of verifiable construction machinery, equipment and plant possession status.
xiii. Company profile with the curriculum vitae of key staff indicated in the bidding document to be deployed to project, including copies of their academic/professional qualifications such as COREN, QSRBN, ARCON, CORBON, MLSCN, NISLT, etc.
A scanned soft copy (PDF format) of each company profile i.e., not in one single file.

4.0 PURCHASE OF BID DOCUMENT
Bid document can be obtained from the Polytechnic Procurement Unit, commencing from Monday, 3rd August, 2026, upon presentation of evidence of payment (Receipt) issued by the Bursary Department of a non-refundable Tender Processing Fee of N300,000.00

5.0 SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
i. The complete financial and technical bid documents should be enclosed in separate envelopes sealed and marked “FINANCIAL” or TECHNICAL BID”.
ii. The Submitted Bids should be enclosed as original in separate envelopes and all the copies in another envelope, duly marked “original” and “copy”, the (2) envelopes enclosed and sealed in one (1) single outer envelope.
Technical and Financial Bids enclosed on a single envelope properly addressed and submitted to:

PMB 5002, Kano-Daura Road, Jigawa State.

6.0 The completed Tender Documents should reach the Office of the Registrar, JSPICT Kazaure by 12:00 Noon from Friday, 31st July, 2026 to Thursday 10th September, 2026.

7.0 The submitted Tender documents will be opened on the same Thursday 10th September, 2026 at 1:00pm in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend at the JSPICT KAZAURE BOARD ROOM. The bidders or their representatives are required to be present.

8.0 The advertisement for the submission of the bid shall neither be construed to be a commitment on the part of JSPICT Kazaure nor shall it entitle any company to make any claim whatsoever and/ or seek any indemnity from JSPICT Kazaure by virtue of any response to the said advertisement.
